Just a heads up: we're using tiles from an old SNES game temporarily. This is to compensate for the lack of an active gfx team at the moment. We'll overwrite all the tiles at a later time.

Sweet, Secret of Mana series has good gfx.

Too bad we can't get away with just borrowing a game's graphics. I gotta figure out a good way to quickly and easily mass-produce gfx. XD

It was either that or Chrono Trigger :\. Either way, the graphics don't look nearly as good as they do on the SNES because I need to resize them to fit the character sprites.

I'm using tilesets that splits tiles into 32x32 slices. Anyone know any programs that can easily slice these tilesets into seperate Paint files for me? >.< It's tedious work and I don't have a lot of time to cut and paste tiles...

I am fond of Idraw for windows. There are a few copies floating around on the internet, and it does a lot of neat stuff for spriters, like animation testing tools and grid-making for tilesets. You might be able to find some other utilities out there, mostly because of the RPGMaker 2000 scene and its aftermath.
